Acute Care Pediatric and Family Nurse Practitioner Meredith Baker is excited to offer non-invasive aesthetic treatments to clients in Severna Park and the surrounding areas of Maryland. She provides various in-demand services, including chemical peels, injectables, microneedling, laser hair removal, capillary and vein treatments, and custom medical-grade facials. She proudly brings her training, knowledge, and experience to her luxury practice, Skinlogic.
A Passion for Comfort and Care
Life does not often follow a linear path, and no one knows that better than Meredith Baker, NP. She graduated from nursing school at Johns Hopkins University and started her medical career as a pediatric acute care nurse at Johns Hopkins in the PICU. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Maryland as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and accepted the position of a pediatric neurocritical care NP at Children’s Hospital in D.C.
While she loved working in pediatrics, she decided to take her career in a different direction. In 2019, she shadowed a plastic surgeon and received firsthand experience in medical aesthetics. She knew how transformative medical aesthetics could be physically, but was incredibly moved by how it affected client confidence and psyche. She started to work part-time in aesthetics while continuing to work at the hospital. In 2022, she finally took the plunge and started Skinlogic.
It is so fulfilling to me to see clients grow more confident in themselves. I find it incredibly rewarding when they come back and tell me that they no longer need to wear makeup to cover up acne scars, or how they feel confident when going into a meeting because they look more awake and alive.
