Once we determine that you are a good candidate for the JUVÉDERM® fillers, we will schedule your injection appointment. There are ways to prepare for the treatment to ensure the best post-treatment results. You will need to temporarily discontinue anti-inflammatory and blood-thinning supplements and medications to help prevent bruising.


Additionally, you should avoid alcohol consumption for at least 24 hours pre-treatment and drink enough water to ensure your skin is hydrated. When you arrive at your appointment, your injector will cleanse the treatment area and then administer the right amount of JUVÉDERM® fillers into the areas outlined in your treatment plan.

A pre-treatment numbing solution is available upon request as needed.
